Coilers – State of the Art Pipe Coiling Solutions
The Plastic Pipe Industry has hundreds or maybe thousands of Extrusion pipe manufacturers, not the same can be said for The Pipe Coiler serves as the last piece in the pipe production line, however it is equally important to maintaining efficiency and quality as the extruder itself. The pipe coming off the coiler is the pipe your customers see. Quality of coiling is determined by several aspects.
- Consistency – Insuring every coil made is the same. This means, same length and same dimensions.
- Coil Size – Compact coils will allow you to load more coils per truckload/container
- Pipe Shape – maintaining the pipe shape, preventing ovality and pipe kinks caused by over torque.

What are the main differences between the Semi-Automatic and Fully Automatic Coilers?
The Semi-Automatic Coiler requires a full-time operator to switch out and strap finished coils, this reduces production speed and has labor costs. While the Fully Automatic Coiler automates the entire process, including switching reels, strapping, and ejecting finished coils, Thus allows faster production speeds with no labor costs.
Can the DRTS coilers handle different sizes of pipes?
Yes, DRTS coilers are designed to handle various sizes and types of drip irrigation and PE pipes from 6mm (1/4”) up to 160mm (6”). They offer models suitable for different diameters and coiling speeds.
Are the DRTS coilers suitable for both round and flat drip irrigation pipes?
What is the DRTS Recoiler machine used for?
The DRTS Flat drip irrigation Recoiler is designed for re-coiling unfinished flat pipe coils or creating short coils from a larger one, helping to reduce scrap rates.
